Allow yourself to start receiving the moment…

I’m Jocie, and I have been facilitating yoga for over a decade.

In that time I have moved through many iterations of yoga practice, originally exploring traditional Hatha, then dipping my toes in Ashtanga, Bikram, Iyengar and eventually finding a resonance with Vinyasa Flow and the Scaravelli approach.

As my teaching (and soul) have matured, I have come to find the most authenticity and truth within an enquiry-based, embodied context to both my practice and my teaching. My classes are underpinned with a desire to make people to feel more at home in their own bodies rather than to dogmatically ‘put’ them into different shapes.

I care deeply about guiding you into the intuitive, helping you remember yourself as a whole - a living, breathing miracle of cells that is also unquestionably connected to the very fabric of life itself.

For the last 5 years, I have been called to work with women as they move through matrescence, (the process of becoming a mother). Working with the divine feminine and the wisdom of the womb, plus extensive pre and postnatal training have deepened my reverence for birth & motherhood and my desire to support women throughout all aspects of this rite of passage.

  • Your teaching was a beautiful balm. Not only did it offer calm for the mind and body in the moment, it taught me about the process of giving birth, the magic of the female body and how to harness breath to support labour. This was invaluable.

    ROZIE

  • Jocie’s yoga has made a huge difference to my strength and overall feeling - it’s like actually turning back the clock on this old body. I love her classes and always feel different after. So thank you.

    PETER

  • Jocie has been my teacher for almost five years now and was also my first! I couldn't have hoped for a more considerate and conscientious teacher to lead me on my yoga journey. Her classes are challenging, yet grounded, and no matter how I feel when I start the class, I always come away feeling uplifted both physically and mentally.

    RICH

  • It's a real credit to your teaching that you are still able to create a level of intimacy while running your classes remotely. I've thoroughly enjoyed my Monday evenings on the mat - thank you for all the peace!
